Customer Service:
Meeting customer needs is our number one priority. Hastings Instruments offers free technical support as well as personalized one-on-one customer service through a diverse organization of field Customer Service Representatives and Distributors. We have more than 50 field Customer Service Representatives that are situated to provide local support throughout the world.

Additionally, reaching our Customer Service Department is only a toll-free number away (USA) and is available for your convenience. Faxing or E-mailing your question first will assure that it is reviewed before you speak to a Customer Service Representative. Also, following the steps listed in our trouble shooting guides (included in each product instruction manual) may help direct you to the appropriate department before you pick up the phone to call.

Calibration and Repair Service:
Periodic calibration on any instrumentation used in process control or research oriented projects is highly recommended. We provide field support devices (for our vacuum products) and a complete service department dedicated to assisting Hastings customers in verifying the accuracy of each instrument's calibration.

In addition to our warranty service, Hastings offers Standard, Priority and Panic levels of product service to ensure each customer receives the best level of service at the minimum cost. Standard service will be established for planned calibration services, usually achieving turnaround times less than three weeks (working days) and products are shipped in the most cost-effective manner. Priority service provides a faster turnaround time (five working days) and faster methods of shipment. Panic level is reserved for customers in an equipment-down situation where every minute counts. Turnaround time is rushed to 72 hours or better and the shipment is expressed overnight.

All of the services listed above require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number to ensure the readiness of our team to support your repair and re-calibration. Please call for or fax the Equipment Return Authorization Form (Download the Flow-RMA or the Vacuum-RMA) prior to sending any equipment. Also, for the protection of your employees and ours, please ensure that any equipment exposed to hazardous chemicals are cleaned, purged, and identified for proper handeling.

European Service Center:
Repair, Calibration, Cleaning and support for Hastings Instruments products in the UK and Western Europe are accredited to ISO 17025
