TELEDYNE HASTINGS INSTRUMENTS COMPLETES THERMOCOUPLE GAUGE TUBE COMPARISON STUDY – THE INSIDE STORY

​HAMPTON, VA.  DECEMBER 2, 2010 -Teledyne Technologies Inc., Hastings Instruments (THI) has completed a comparison study of thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes available from the top manufacturers.  New gauge tubes from the various manufacturers (minimum quantity of five per supplier) were procured for testing.  THI has thoroughly reviewed these tubes and has prepared the "inside story".  The illuminating results can be seen on a special website, www.HastingsGauge.com. 

The study includes tube-to-tube measurement repeatability, vibration table results (Mil-Std-202, Test Condition IG), and construction method analysis.  The special website features an automated slideshow and includes comparably scaled photos and tables.  Visitors can see the presentation and download the results for themselves.
